Oscar Niemeyer Architecture
While in the Brazilian Capital, Brasília I was lucky enough to photograph some of the work of the Architect Oscar Niemeyer. The Brazilian architect is considered to be one of the key figures in the development of modern architecture and has designed some of the 20th Century's most famous modernist buildings.
Community School Project.
On a recent commercial shoot in Lomé, Togo. I got involved in shooting a few images in a local community school project sponsored by the company I was commissioned by.

Hong Kong Trip Images
On first acquaintance Hong Kong can overwhelm and nudge you out of your comfort zone but usually rewards you for it. Navigate its teeming, tightly packed sidewalks and you’re met at every turn with neon signage, steam-filled canteens and a babel of chatter.
Fashion shoot
I had so much fun shooting these images. Thanks to all the wonderful models and stylists who helped in producing these striking and edgy images. The dramatic hard light results were obtained with the use of a Pro foto D1 kit.
Corporate Portraits
I was commissioned to shoot a set of corporate portraits for an international oilfield service company. All shot on location at their HQ in Dubai, UAE. Apart from the natural light, I used one Canon Speedlite 580EX II bounced into a small umbrella at close range for fill.
Northern Vietnam Images
I've just completed a trip to Vietnam. If you want visual dramatics, Vietnam delivers. Cruise an azure ocean pierced by surreal-looking limestone islands in Halong Bay, hike mountain tracks and explore tribal villages near Sapa and Bac Ha. Finally, experience the energy of big-city life in Vietnam's capital Hanoi, the grand old lady of the Orient.
Creating the look
Campaign images for haute couture fashion house Jonquille. Their fusion of soft pastel fabrics and colours, mixed together with a touch of western and eastern influenced drove the photographic approach. I shoot wide open with a Cannon 50mm 1.2 prime lens. This created the beautiful dreamlike Bokeh and depth of field effects. I used a diffused back light to create the lens flare.
